Updated 18 October 2026. These terms explain how bookings and vouchers work. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Booking and payment
Your booking is secured when checkout is completed and payment is confirmed. A submitted enquiry, participant check-in or unpaid reservation is not proof of a paid booking. Check your confirmation for the experience, date, time, room and participant count; contact us promptly about any error.
A £3 booking fee applies once per session-booking order. Advertised session totals include this fee; it remains separately itemised at checkout. If several sessions are purchased in one order, checkout calculates the single order fee. Required extra-participant charges are part of the overall cost even when collected on arrival. Optional upgrades are additional only if you choose them.
Participant numbers and extras
Riot Room: maximum six people. Smash Lab: maximum four. Paint Bomb: maximum six. Axe throwing: maximum four per lane, eight across both lanes when both are booked.
Riot Room and Smash Lab base prices cover one participant; each additional participant costs £10 on site. Paint Bomb includes two participants; each additional participant costs £10 for extra paints and equipment on site. Axe throwing is charged per participant online. Optional smash items, canvases, statues and printed targets are subject to stock and their displayed or agreed on-site prices.
Timing and late arrival
Arrive 5–10 minutes before your booked time for waiver confirmation. Briefing and suit-up begin around five minutes before the slot and continue for approximately the first five minutes of the booked experience. The 30/60-minute duration covers the full experience, including this in-slot preparation.
Sessions run to a schedule. Late arrival can reduce the time available and may mean the session cannot go ahead if safe preparation and participation cannot be completed. Contact us immediately if you are delayed; an automatic extension or replacement slot is not guaranteed.
When the projection timer finishes, ask staff about a reset, refuel or extension. Extra time is available only where the schedule permits, with any extra price agreed first.
Changing or cancelling your booking
We offer a free reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to the availability of a replacement slot. Contact 07756 950770 or hello@riotreset.com, quoting your booking reference.
Our standard policy is that cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable. This does not remove statutory rights or allow us to retain payments unlawfully. Contact us about exceptional circumstances, earlier cancellations or a missed session; we will explain the options that apply to your booking.
If Riot Reset cancels your session, you can choose an available replacement or a refund for the cancelled service, including its applicable booking fee. If only part of a multi-session order is affected, we will explain the relevant refund breakdown.
Bookings for leisure activities on a specified date generally do not carry the standard 14-day distance-selling cancellation right. This does not remove remedies where we fail to provide the service as agreed.
Eligibility, check-in and safe participation
Riot Room and Smash Lab are 18+. Paint Bomb is 4+ with adult supervision. Axe throwing is 16+. Each adult completes their own participant form; a parent or legal guardian completes a separate form for each under-18 participant. Staff must confirm eligibility, supervision, equipment fit and the briefing before participation.
Follow staff instructions, wear the specified protection, use only approved tools and objects, and stop when instructed. Staff may pause, refuse or end participation on reasonable safety grounds, including unsafe conduct or impairment. Any refund question is considered under these terms and applicable law; the safety rules do not create a blanket exclusion of your rights.
Nothing in these terms or the participation acknowledgement excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. A parent’s signature does not waive a child’s legal rights.
Gift vouchers
Vouchers are currently issued and redeemed in GBP, with a minimum purchase of £20. They have no expiry date. Digital and printed copies use the same code and balance; printing another copy does not create extra credit. Keep the code private.
Use credit towards eligible online bookings, including the booking fee. Pay any difference at checkout; unspent credit remains available. There is no minimum spend for using an existing balance. Staff can check and deduct credit for eligible on-site purchases. Vouchers cannot buy other vouchers. No booking fee is added to a voucher-only purchase.
Contact us promptly about a lost code, mistaken purchase or refund request. Do not assume that the dated-session cancellation exception applies to an undated voucher. Any applicable statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available. On cancellation of a booking paid with voucher credit, any refund due for that part is returned to the voucher balance; cash/card components are handled separately. Refunds of voucher purchases must account for any credit already used.
Privacy, photography and questions
Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Participant check-in is not consent to marketing or promotional photographs. Discuss personal filming and spectator arrangements with staff before entering the activity area.
These terms are governed by Northern Ireland law, without removing mandatory consumer protections or court rights that apply to you.
