Know what to bring, what is included and how your visit works.
Your visit, step by step
- Before you leave: complete a separate participant check-in for every person. Each adult signs for themselves; a parent or legal guardian completes the form for an under-18 participant.
- Arrive 5–10 minutes early: staff confirm your booking and waiver. Have your booking reference ready.
- Briefing and suit-up: preparation begins around five minutes before your slot and continues for approximately the first five minutes of the booked experience. The advertised 30/60 minutes is the full experience time, including that in-slot preparation.
- Take part: follow the briefing, wear the required protection and stop immediately when instructed. Tell staff if you need to pause.
- When the projection timer ends: ask about a reset, refuel or extra time. Extensions depend on the next booking and staff availability; agree any extra charge before continuing.
Who can take part?
| Experience | Minimum age | Maximum participants |
|---|---|---|
| Riot Room | 18+ | 6 |
| Smash Lab | 18+ | 4 |
| Paint Bomb | 4+, adult supervised | 6 |
| Axe throwing | 16+ | 4 per lane; 8 across both lanes |
Every under-18 participant needs their own parent/legal-guardian permission. Staff check age eligibility, appropriate supervision, equipment fit and the briefing before admission. Contact us before booking if you need to discuss supervision or a larger group; a larger booking does not increase a room’s capacity.
What is included?
Riot Room and Smash Lab
The starter set contains bottles and plates, with the required protective equipment, issued tools and a safety briefing. The base room booking covers one participant; each additional participant is £10, payable on site. TVs, appliances, furniture and other large smash items are paid extras, subject to suitable prepared stock and staff approval. No particular extra item is guaranteed by a standard booking.
In Riot Room, throw the issued bottles and plates against “The Gable End Wall”. The white block wall stays standing; the bottles and plates break.
Paint Bomb
The base session includes two participants, paint, the required protection and the briefing. Each additional participant is £10 for extra paints and equipment, payable on site, up to six people. Larger or shaped canvases, statues and other upgrades are optional paid extras. Choices and prices depend on stock; agree the price with staff before purchase. A take-home canvas or statue is not included in the standard session.
Axe throwing
Pay per participant for your booked lane session, with issued equipment and a safety briefing. Use only the equipment and throwing method approved by staff. Ask about printed targets to take home and the current price before purchasing one.
What to wear and bring
- Riot Room and Smash Lab require closed-toe shoes; steel-toe footwear is strongly recommended.
- For paint, wear clothes and old shoes you do not mind getting marked. Protective clothing does not guarantee that your own clothes will stay clean.
- Secure loose hair, clothing and jewellery. Wear all protection specified by staff and report any fit problem before starting.
- Use only staff-issued or expressly approved tools and objects. Discuss any special smash-item request in advance; do not arrive expecting an unapproved item to be used.
- Bring your booking reference. Ask staff where belongings and phones should go before entering the activity area.
Access, sensory needs and suitability
Smash sessions involve sudden loud impacts, flying fragments and physical exertion. Paint sessions can involve slippery surfaces, UV or low lighting and paint contact. Axe throwing involves sharp implements and rebounds. Safety measures reduce risk but cannot remove it.
Contact us before paying if you need information about step-free access, toilet access, seating, PPE fit, lighting or supervision. We will discuss what is available for your chosen activity and any suitable adjustments. We do not promise that every activity suits every access need.
If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury, have a concern about safe participation or need an adjustment, speak privately with the team before booking. Seek appropriate medical advice if needed. Do not put diagnoses or medication details into the booking form. Do not participate while alcohol, drugs or medication impair your ability to follow the safety instructions.
Photos, phones and spectators
Ask staff before filming or bringing a phone into an activity area. Follow their directions on safe positioning and storage, and get permission from anyone you photograph. Spectators and supervising adults must be agreed with the team; do not assume additional people can enter beyond the room capacity. Signing the participation form does not give permission for promotional use of your image.
